PHOENIX, ARIZONA—November 2, 2006—MommyTalk.com, an online social community for parents which launched in late August this year, announced today that Version II of the site is up and running, with a variety of new features and a brand new look.
"The changes we've made are really what will continue to set us apart from other such sites," said Travis Moss, CEO and president of MommyTalk.com. "We've added features that similar sites do not offer. Everything we've done to improve the site is a direct result of listening to our member's suggestions. Since launching in August, the free site has offered members a variety of unique, family-oriented services including the ability to create a family homepage with individual, safe pages for kids, the capability to craft and customize profiles, upload photos, set-up a blog, receive e-mail and more.
Almost 1,000 members in more than 40 states and two countries have been using the site, with more joining every day. The site has been referred to as a "MySpace for Moms," although despite its name, the site is a favorite to dads as well.
MommyTalk.com members still have full access to the site and services for free, as the site operates solely on online advertising revenue.

Stephen Shearin, a parent himself, manages the overall operations on the site. When he's not working with the teams to assist with design or content, he's dreaming up new ways to ride his giant chicken through the streets of Paris.
Rachel is a north east Ohio mom to two children and one husband (you can count him as a kid too.) Shes a legendary mommytalker turned employee, the first admitted MT addict and our resident rocker. Rachel is a work at home mom which she enjoys more than anything. It's the best of both worlds.
Kent, a father of two lovely girls, is responsible for the actual building of the site. From writing complex code to all of that other fun stuff programers do, Kent has created an "easy to use" system, loaded with features, for MommyTalk.com's members.
